The work of the true craftsman
is easily detectable in the field of papering, too.
Just look for parts of the
work where the plasterwork can't possibly be even, such as a radiused
corner.
The plastering profession
has some really skilled people, but asking them to maintain a completely
even curve from floor to ceiling is just asking too much of the medium
in which they work. It isn't just difficult, it's simply impossible.
So when the papering comes
out perfectly, like the example on the left, even the plasterer will
admit that most of the credit must go to the paper hanger.
A result like this takes
great skill and experience, but as you see, it is possible.
